CHILDREN'S CRIB RECALL

This week the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) announced a major voluntary recall of drop-side cribs manufactured by seven different firms. The drop-side hardware may fail causing entrapment, suffocation, and fall hazards. The drop-side and fixed-side cribs involved in the recall were manufactured between 2000 and 2009 by the following companies: Child Craft; Delta Enterprise Corporation; Evenflo; Jardine Enterprises; LaJobi; Million Dollar Baby; and Simmons Juvenile Products, Inc. CPSC is urging consumers to not attempt to fix these cribs with homemade remedies. Consumers are asked to contact the company for which their crib was manufactured. Information on how to do this may be found here: http://www.cpsc.gov/cpscpub/prerel/prhtml10/10270.html
